When will it get better?

It'll be sore fer a while. Shouldn't take that long. [ Reaching up to maybe ruffle Iceland's hair. But he stops, just lowering his hand on Iceland's head for a brief moment before moving away. ]

[volcanic]

[ Iceland doesn't try to get away or swat at Norway's hand, to his credit. Though he is busy sulking... ]

This is stupid.

[ Well, that's something. Except that Norway suspects it's because of recently dislocated shoulder and not because he likes Norway's headpats. But still... let him just enjoy the moment, ok. ]

That guy was stupid.

[ It honestly does feel a little comforting in a nostalgic way, however Iceland did get a twinge of wanting to shoo Norway's hand, as well. Conflicting feelings. ]

Yeah, but he's better off.

[laukr]

[ Which is why it's good that Norway took his hand away before any shooing could be instigated. He will move to fill Iceland's coffee cup again, though. Because he needs to fuss a bit and Iceland probably would grow tired of brotherly hands constantly adjusting his sling. ]

... there hasn't been others, right?

[volcanic]

[ He shakes his head. ] No.

[laukr]

Good.

[volcanic]

Yeah... [ Iceland shifts a bit, trying to make himself 'smaller' - as he's wont to do when he's not feeling super great about himself. ]

[laukr]

[ ... Broooor. ]

... ? [ Norway doesn't ask, but quirks his brows in a question, reaching up again to brush a few strands of hair away from Iceland's forehead. ]

[volcanic]

[ Iceland's brow furrows. ] Don't.

[laukr]

[ And Norway will bite his teeth together, jaw tightening. But he'll take his hand back, awkwardly, curl it around his coffee cup while looking away. ]

[volcanic]

[ Meanwhile, Iceland chills out and just drinks his coffee. He can only stand so much touching at a time, broí. ]

[laukr]

[ Norway sips away his coffee and sets it in the dishwasher after he's done. Seems like it's time to leave. ]

[volcanic]

[ Aw, brrrrorrrr. Then again, it's not like Iceland is trying real hard to keep him here... ]

Nore.

[laukr]

Hmm? [ Norway pauses and looks back at Iceland. ]

[volcanic]

Thanks, for the, uh... coffee. [ And you know, the company, fixing up your poor rattled baby brother, and taking care of the situation all around, because clearly Iceland can't. ]

[laukr]

[ If Norway would be privy to those feels of incapability, he'd make a note of shaking Iceland out of it. But since he doesn't, and expects something else, he will flash in a rare genuine smile before turning to the door again. ]

Sure. I'm sure Spain wouldn't mind another mouth if ye'd like ta come over for dinner. It might be hard ta cook with just one hand.

[volcanic]

Oh. Yeah... okay, I guess. [ Free food free food. That'll always perk Iceland up. ]

At six. [ Norway says from the door, glancing back at Iceland again. ]
